wooo---ee!
damn!
my mom came home early, so the driveway wasn't cleared yet, and she got stuck going up our oh-so-inclined driveway. i mean, you'd think it doesn't SNOW in Sweden the way that Volvo was moving. so we had to do a quick clear off and some pushing on my dad's part, and then our friendly UPS guy drove by and stopped to help, consequently getting stuck himself, and then once that was all over with, the friendly guy that does our lawn drove by and stopped to talk, and promptly got stuck 100 ft ahead at the stop sign. SHEESH!
but really, father winter should know better than to mess with MY boots.
and really, really, I hope everyone's safe cause it's damn hard to drive out there.
and then i stuck around and played outside and took pictures of the snow because i like to take pictures of things that are pretty and cliche.
you know what? i have a hard time believing that each and every snowflake is unique. i mean, think of all the snowflakes covering your yard, then times that by all your neighbors, then think of all the neighbor's yards over the course of history, then think of those mountains in Return of the King that had snow on them, and it is just unthinkable! i think it's just another lie children are told when they are younger like how you shouldn't eat Play-Do or play with razorblades or something.
have you ever pressed your face into a pile of snow? i did that...it's really cool feeling because you can feel the snow melting away from your lips and cheeks and then you can see your face imprint in the snow! but around my third pressing, my face wasn't so warm anymore and the snow kind of stuck to my cheeks and i ran inside squealing.
