and I figured out why some people are like, "no I"ll get" as you start to pay for your coffee or something. it's cause they don't want you to know in advance that someone else will cover your tab. so you won't order a 24 oz mocha in a crystal mug or something and then charge it to them. yeah that's why. but it's a good trick. I'm going to use the hell out of it.

sweet! some lady just called doing a survey for music radio and tv, and I lied and said I would turn 18 in a month so i could get surveyed.
but her only question was, "Which radio stations have you listened to for at least an hour in a week?" and I thought for a while and said 89.3 fm. and she was like, "you don't have to listen to it for an hour straight, just total." and I was like, "yeah ok. 89.3" "That's it?" "yes!" and it was done!
I think Blogger would be cooler if they only let you have a blog if it was worth reading. So I would be getting emails right now saying, "um, your blog sucks. shape up or you're out!" and I would have to get a more interesting personality or start philosophizing on the war or on teenage drinking or something.

god I know it's cheesy, but I got the Stray Cats album from the Clothesline sale and I just love it. I love shit like that. I like dancing to it.
and i know i'm the biggest nerd. god I am. I just can't get over physics. like, it's EVERYWHERE fuck! i mean, just comparing it to calculus is enough. I fucking hate the class and was seriously dying in it today. ask sam. i was going to go on a rampage and torch the fucking building. but goddam. the way the record moves, the way water flows, the way you can hear me shit it's everywhere and to know how it works amazes me.
i gues it's one thing to be good at something and get good grades all the time, but yeah, I'm a different breed if it actually interests the hell out of me.

if i had a piano and a computer in my room, i would never leave it.
so more clothesline....someone took ALLLLL the records i had wanted...including a billion Beatles records, a rolling stones one, blondie, pat benetar.... some more GONE. and i just bet it was the same person who took my pretty pink dress too! FUCKER I"LL KEEL YOU! god and it was only an hour after the place opened. so. i did get some records (25 cents! yeah they had Abby fucking Road for a quarter!) and some other shit. i stole one thing accidently and one thing on purpose. i got a Cornershop cd. anway. I plan on returning. i went today like a whirlwind.
and why was i not there at 4PM???? because i was at my interview with the woman who went to the internment camps. I was nervous, as you might know, but it was really really cool. and really fucking interesting. yeah. I can't wait to interview her daughter for a different perspective. and she was so sweet! she gave me these French-Japanese cookies! aww! so yeah. this paper might be good.

I gave blood today and it was totally awesome. just barely though. with my ear pierced by a needle in prague...and my history of low blood pressure and fainting spells...so it was only expected that i pass out eventually : )

hey. today was really rad. thank you everyone who participated and/or supported it and didn't ask annoying questions. thank you thank you thank yoU!!!! anway, after school me and Ben S. and Jeff K went to the plaza and made signs and stuff and then there was this rally thing and we took over four corners with signs like "Honk against Hate" omg i made that one then everyone copied but that's GREAT! and like, "protect my gay teachers/students" and "Bill 239 Killed me" and "hey hey gay's ok" and it was awesome and people honked and some people didn't but it was still fun and people there were nice. well some. but i mean, i'm not the nicest person.

I saw Phone Booth las night (and I know you want to see it. as much as you deny it, you saw the previews and were like, "um.,... i want to see that") and i saw it and it was alright! it was clever! but Colin Farrell had NO IRISH ACCENT which gets a large large thumbs down from me. and pardon my aollingo but O M G. there is this movie coming out with that guy who was in Snatch and The Transporter... and Seth Green....and Edward Norton....AND it's in Venice!!!! fuckin' A!!!! i'm going to see it like, 5 times when it comes out. and add it to my list of mediocre action movies that rock because they're in Europe (XXX, The Transporter)....oh baby i can't wait.

i had the SAT today. and that was ok. but i always do worse than i think. that means i have a lot to look forward to.
I also had this special piano lesson...where this woman came in and went over a couple of my pieces with me. it was ok. i'm always open to someone besides mrs kennedy to give their opinion, but she did that, "think of it as a conversation" and that bugs me, because i like to interpret the piece as I hear it, not as some "conversation" or "story" and even if I do, i don't like it when someone else tells me what to think of. so that was annoying. plus, her compliments at the end sounded forced. yeahwhatever.

the problem with indie bands is that you can't find any info on them. (it's like the same problems with bands whose names are one, short word like Air or Ours.)like on my road trip i was listenign to I think the University of Iowa's radio station and there was this awesome song and I even wrote down the lyrics to look it up online later cause I knew that I would forget them if I didn't cause I always forget them. but whoever it was does not have anything up at least i can't find it where they have their song. poop. maybe YOU can help!
it started out with just a bass and it was really rad and then a piano came in and it kinda blended into the bass and it's a girl singing and she starts out "I hate you, I hate you" and actually it's a really upbeat song and at the end she goes "love is a word that you use when you know that you're sinking" and i wish i knew what the song was.
um, it's cool to have really low self esteem!

anyway. I really hate it when i'm playing a piece and my piano teacher is humming or saying "dum dum duh" or something to the piece's melody cause it realllly messes me up cause she always is too slow or something and i just want to be like, "COULD YOU NOT THANKS"
and I made the mistake of askign her how her spring break was and she started telling me all about Branson (god) with her grandchildren. She saw Jimmy Osmond who she said was really good, and then how she went to this restaurant owned by Dolly Parton or something where you walk in and one side is the NOrth and the other side is the SOutha nd they fight the Civil War (to quote her: "It's the North and the South... just like in the Civ- was it the Civil War? yeah the Civil war") and how there were no utensils and I feel bad cause I must have just had a horrified look on my face while she was telling me all this and THEN oh god she starts talkign about the war and how it was really special or something how they were in Branson when the war started and for christ's sake. She was like, "it just breaks my heart that our boys and girls are getting killed" and i wanted to say something like, "yeah I feel the same way, only I include iraqi girls and boys and all those other non-terrorists" but I didn't cause sheesh who knows what that would have meant. yeah. anyway.
I should have practiced more over break.
