what are you doing tonight? I'm going to be standing behind a bunch of immature boys, wondering if I'll ever be done with high school, and we'll all be playing songs with titles like "Radioactive" and "Mr. Basket" that sound like the theme songs to early 90's family sitcoms and I haven't practiced the triplets to some of the songs and I'll be damned if i ever had a solo and tonight I might even get a cool performing arts Varsity letter to match my visual arts Varsity letter and i will play that P.H.unky music, oh white friend of mine!
But jazz band is just a really good way to remind me why i like playing music.

so I was at Mikado's (the coffee place by SRO) today, and on the wall they had these tiles set up with just a portion of "School of Athens" by Donatello where it was just the part of it where he painted himself looking out at the viewer. and man did I feel proud and overeducated that I knew what it was!

speaking of being an asshole and saying I'm overeducated, I thought this was really funny.
