we do optics labs so that we have to go out and work on them in pairs or threes or fives so that when we come back home we can see the moon in the sky and it's huge! it's so large and it's not even full because it's so low in the sky and i kept looking at it driving home, driving towards it but having to stop because i got home and it's so big because the atmosphere acts as a lens and it magnifies it. now you see why we do optics labs.
