skanking + slurpees = excellent night. merci to all.
i babysat from 8:30-4:00 today. holy crap. i'm exhausted. especially since one kid talked too much and the other didn't talk at all. but whatever. when I ran out of creative things at my house i just let other people do it for me (i.e. Brookside Toy & Science and Kaleidescope) Kaleidiscope (YES I"M SPELLING IT WRONG) is really different from when we used to go. now the parents walk around with the kids. it surprised me how many parents would actually sit down and do the projects themselves. for christ's sake. let the kids do it. there's not much to kaleidescope except scraps from the hallmark factory and crayola markers. but if the kids like it... ca va. sheesh. do you know what I want for dinner? grilled cheese with tomato. you know what we're having? trout.
