jackdar1pp: how about the "we freaked ourselves out because we just saw on the project specs that we aren't supposed to deal with pushing/popping/evaluating the frame base register, but we had already written code that uses it....but then luckily we realized that in the FAQ we were told it's ok to make our code work for functions even though we don't do that till part 4 of the project which isn't for almost 2 months, but would require dealing with FBR stuff....so our use of it is ok by default"
